Our Employment Pathway: Volunteer First
At Simcard Air, our employment process begins with a mandatory Volunteer Program lasting 1 to 2 months. This ensures candidates gain practical experience, understand our company culture, and prove their dedication across the various projects we manage—including Zer0, Super Apps, and Simcard Air, all working in unison.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications ✨
To ensure a productive remote working experience, all volunteers must meet the following basic criteria:
- Minimum Qualification: Must be a graduate from high school (e.g., possess a matric certificate).
- Equipment: Must have a personal computer or laptop and reliable Wi-Fi or internet connectivity.
Candidates possessing further qualifications are highly encouraged to apply. This includes specialized certifications in areas such as Human Resources (H.R.), Computer/I.T. skills (e.g., Microsoft 365, CAT, I.T. Support, etc.), or any qualification that has extensively involved the use of computers.
Typical Volunteer Activities
Volunteers are integrated into critical, real-world tasks that drive the success of our platforms. There are a tonne of activities available, including:
- Managing and executing Affiliation Programs.
- Assisting with Advertising and promotional campaigns.
- Acting as Sales Personnel by meeting directly with potential users and partners.
- Moderating and flagging content that directly violates our policies.
- Performing software testing and quality assurance for the Zer0 app.
- Administrative and Human Resources support tasks.
